The MLS is the Multiple Listing Service a real estate data base that covers the entire Greater Albuquerque Area, from Rio Rancho to Belen, Albuquerque to the East Mountains and everything in between.

Structure refers to the square footage.

Property Types has different options.  Residential Income refers to duplexes, triplexes etc. and Resi Rental is if you are looking for a rental or lease.  If you check Residential you get a drop-down menu that says Detached, Attached or Manufactured.  A Detached is a single-family home that doesn't share a wall, floor or ceiling with another home.  An Attached is a condo or townhome.

First, decide where you want to search.  Using the Mapping feature you can pan the map up and down, side to side by clicking on the compass points located on the frame of the map.  To zoom in, click on the plus-sign (+) on the left side of the map.  To zoom out, click on the minus sign (-).  To select an area in which to search, click and drag a box around your desired area.

Once you have chosen an area you can continue to check features or fill in fields that are important in your property search.  The more features you select, the more narrow your search will be.

After choosing your area and features, click on the Preview Count button located in the top, right-hand corner and you will receive a number indicating the number of listings that are in the MLS with your search criteria.  If it is a very high number than perhaps you need to go back and narrow your search.  When you have reached a manageable number, click on the Submit button to retrieve your list of properties.
